End of 1st Quarter

It's hard to believe that 2nd quarter is already here and underway!  Things have been very busy around PCM High School and students have been hard at work.  The fall break was nice for not only students, but staff as well as they all headed to Des Moines for the SolutionTree PLC conference.  Teachers were engaged in 3 days of hands-on learning to better serve the students in our building.  WIN time has also been going extremely well.  I would encourage all parents/guardians to ask their students how they feel WIN time is going and also encourage them to request time with certain teachers if they feel they need some extra help in a particular subject.  That's what it's there for!

The American Lung Association will be presenting to the entire student body about the dangers of vaping.  As you read in the newsletter sent out last week by the district, there is a lot to learn about vaping and students need to be educated as well.  If you haven't read the article on vaping in the newsletter, there is a lot of great information for parents and students.

On Friday, the football team will take on Benton Community in the first round of playoffs.  Good luck to the Mustangs!
